Cornelia Bishop Mayda, 87, Hot Springs formerly of McGehee passed away Tuesday January 17, 2012 at Heritage of Hot Springs Health in Hot Springs, AR.
She worked for Wells Lamont Manufactory over 30 years, liked gardening, loved to crochet and loved her family.
Mrs. Mayda was born to the late Albert Boyd and Ellen Carr on March 20, 1924 at Dumas, AR.
She is also preceded in death by first husband Woodrow Bishop and second husband Henry Mayda.
She is survived by two sons: David (Cissy) Bishop of LaPlace, LA and Woody (Elizabeth) Bishop of Hot Springs, AR, brother Eugene Boyd of Greenwood, AR, two sisters: Margaret Brown of Lake Village, AR., Abby Winemiller of Arkansas City, AR., seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be 1:00PM Saturday, January 21, 2012 at McGehee Cemetery with Rev. Ben White officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:00am to service time at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service.
