Louise McCarty, 86, of Russellville, formerly of Marianna,AR died Friday, March 6, 2009 at Legacy Lodge Nursing Center in Russellville. The daughter of Felix and Maggie Duran Hudnall, she was born July 31, 1922 in Hazlehurst, MS. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Marianna. She enjoyed doing crochet work and caring for children. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Lawrence McCarty and by her parents; one daughter Ramona Roberts; four brothers O'Neal, Woodrow, Van and JC Hudnall.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE; one son, Larry McCarty and wife Maureen of Russellville; four grandchildren, Chris Roberts of San Ramon, CA, Kenny Roberts of Reno, NV, Erin McCarty Butler and husband Clint of Austin, TX, Alan McCarty of US Navy, Goose Creek, SC; three great grandchildren James Roberts, Neal Roberts both of San Ramon, CA and Greyson Butler of Austin, TX; one sister, Iva Mae Rowton of Nashville, TN.
Visitation will be at Humphrey Funeral Service from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, on Tuesday. Funeral Service 1:00PM, Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel at Marianna. Bro. Billy Ellis will officiate. Burial will be at Marianna Memorial Park by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna from 6-8. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice 2405 East Parkway Suite 3 Russellville, AR 72801 or the American Cancer Society.
