Sovillia Martha (Johnson) Brown, age 92 passed away Monday, October 05, 2009 at Ozark Health in Clinton, Arkansas. She was born May 13, 1917 to Balis and Mattie (Grayson) Johnson in Elberta, Arkansas.

She was a member of the Leslie United Methodist Church. She was married to Harry C. Brown on August 23, 1943.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and step-mother Clarie Lula (Rolen).

She is survived by brother Sylvester Johnson and the late Lillian (Reade) Johnson of Shelbyville, Illinois, nephews: Sidney and wife Aradasa Johnson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Robert and wife Pamela Sue Johnson of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Larry and wife Annette Johnson of Teasdale, Utah, Keith and wife Jill Johnson of Effingham, Illinois, niece Patricia (Johnson) and husband Ralph Stevenson of Riverton, Illinois, and step-cousin Tommy and wife Margie Wilson of Leslie, Arkansas who cared for her in her latter.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 08, 2009 from 10:00 A.M. till 2:00 P.M. at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 08, 2009 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Edward Warren officiating. Pallbearers will be Wesley Smith, Jimmy D. Adams, Wade Smith, Max Fendley, Sidney Johnson, and Phil Reade. Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Johnson.

Burial will be in the Kuykendall Cemetery under direction of Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas.
