Dora Marie Fisher King, 96, of Marianna, better known as Doe Doe, went on to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, December 28, 2007. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marianna, and was known for her homemaking, cooking, sewing and gardening. Her life was giving of herself to her family and friends. The last years of her life were spent as an active resident of The Pillars in Crossett.

She is survived by four of her sisters, Eula Ryan, Mary Binkley, Paula Nickells, and Lois Beggs; six grandchildren, Butch Phelps(Carmen), David Phelps(Susan), Sandy Allen(Tracy), Beverly Gammel(Lamar), Mike Webb(Staci), Doug Webb(Angela); 14 great grandchildren, Porter Phelps(Wendi), Connie Cline(Adam), Haley Beavert(Chris), Courtney Johnson(Michael), Jason Gammel, John Michael & Katie Webb, Bryce Moon, Joel, Christian, Brooke and Macie Webb, Kristy Roth, and Mandy Greenwald; and three great, great grandchildren, Cortlyn & Mary Keaton Beavert and Parr Johnson. Doe Doe was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, G.O. King, their two daughters, Myra Rounsavall and Mary Ellen Webb, her parents Fred Henderson Fisher and Mary Wogaman Fisher, a brother, William Fisher, and three sisters: Bertha Benton, Freddie Jones and Clara Brock.

Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Marianna on Sunday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Butch Phelps and Bro. Steve Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Marianna Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett. (www.jonesservice.com).
