Evelyn Margaret Braden, age 96, of Scobey, Montana, formerly of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, passed away on December 17, 2011, in Billings, Montana. Born in Carol, Iowa, on December 15, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Chistena Schulte Siepker.
In 1947 she was married to Loyd B. Braden, who preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 2005. Mrs. Braden moved from Ida Grove, Iowa, to Fairfield Bay in December of 1984. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and its Altar Society.
Mrs. Braden is survived by one son, Bennett Braden and his wife, Sharon, of Texas; one daughter, Jo Ann Allee of Montana; five grandchildren, Andrew and his wife Jennifer, Matthew, Jennifer and her husband David, Jason, and Jill; and seven great-grandchildren. Rosary will be held Friday, Dec. 30, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. with funeral mass following. Interment will be at Woodland Memorial Park.
