Ruby was the seventh child of Thomas Wesley Densford (29 Jan 1874 - 08 Oct 1957) and Annie Jane Rast (13 Feb 1880 - 24 Aug 1952). On 18 May 1930, Ruby married Paul McFarland. They had one son, Porter Anderson (13 Dec 1932 - 23 May 1976) and one daughter, Betty Ann (31 Dec 1938). After Ruby and Paul divorced, Ruby married Andrew Evans Green (25 Sep 1903 - 28 Apr 1966). They had one son, Thomas Andrew (28 Aug 1953).
