FAYETTEVILLE — Jean F. Gray, 76, of Fayetteville died May 12, 2002, at Tulsa, Okla. She was born Aug. 10, 1925, in Tupelo, Okla., to Luther Francis and Emma Anderson Turner. She was secretary/treasurer for NAPCO in Springdale and was a number of the First Baptist Church in Lowell. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Joplin Chapter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gray, on March 11, 1944, one sister, Ellie Lee Turner at an early age, and one half sister, Evelyn Cours.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Gray of Lowell and Charles Earl Gray of Gentry; two brothers, Bill Turner of Woodsville, Texas, and Donald Turner of Houston, Texas; one sister, Dorothy Brown of Dumas, Texas; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Gary Thomas officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
