FAYETTEVILLE — Shirley Jean Kelly Ridenoure, 58, of Fayetteville passed away Sept. 20, 2010. She was born Oct. 17, 1951, in Prairie Grove.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frankie Kelly, and mother, Julia Kelly.
Shirley was a homemaker and spent many years at the University of Arkansas acquiring a bachelor of science in education, two masters of education and one Ph.D. Shirley was loved by many and she loved people.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Charles Ridenoure of Fayetteville; son, Steve Ridenoure and wife, Kim, of Fayetteville; stepson, Rick Ridenoure and wife, Carla, of Springdale; stepdaughter, Gina Rankin and husband, Andy, of Fayetteville; stepgrandchildren, Rick Ridenoure Jr., Jared Ridenoure, Zoe Ridenoure and Zack Ridenoure; and one stepgreat-granddaughter, Gracie Mae Ridenoure; three sisters, Eva Chitwood, Sharon Rakes and Beverly Center; four nieces and nephews, Kris Hime, Doug Stanberry, Gary Rakes Jr. and Rachel Center; and a host of family and close friends.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010, at Fairview Memorial Gardens, with Pastors Don Warford and Buel Curtis officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Beards Funeral Chapel.
