Margarete L. Walther, 85, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1993, in a Fayetteville hospital. Born March 25, 1907, at Berlin, Germany, the daughter of Arnold and Josefa Kastl Sigert, she was a homemaker and a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. She moved to Fayetteville in 1941 from Wheaton, Ill.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Mickey Brinson of Gainsville, Ga., and Mrs. Leona Billingslea of West Fork; eight grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be by Nelson's Funeral Home. The family will schedule a memorial service at a later date.
