Marie Foster, 80, of Austin, Arkansas, was born May 15, 1931 at Cotton Plant, Arkansas, to Robert and Ola (Cross) Hambrick, and she died Wednesday, January 18, 2012. She was a member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in El Paso, Arkansas, and the Cabot Chapter #508, Order of the Eastern Star.
Marie is survived by three children, John Foster (Becky), Debbie Coburn and Jill Howard (Larry), all of Austin; seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly; sisters, Martha Sue Oliver of Beebe, Louise Dobson of Fargo, Arkansas; and brother Bobby Hambrick of North Little Rock.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, John Foster, Sr.; a son, Robert Joseph Foster; a daughter, Bennett Holland; her parents; and a son-in-law Hershal Coburn, Sr.; and brothers Jay, Frank and Carl Hambrick.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2012, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday.
