Wilma "Willie" L. Nusz, nee Hathcoat, 84, of O'Fallon, Illinois, formerly of Bakersfield, California, born December 27, 1930, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away, Saturday, March 14, 2015.
Wilma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Willie was a people person who showed genuine caring and compassion to everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Alvin Nusz; her parents, Rev. Horace and Thelma, nee Baker, Hathcoat; and her brother-in-law, Kermit Schweer.
Surviving are her three children, Linda Wells, of Bakersfield, Calif., Randall (Lynne Batten) Nusz, of Little Rock, Ark., and Carla (John) Clatanoff, of O'Fallon, Ill.; 6 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; her sister, Carolyn Schweer, of Bakersfield, Calif., along with 3 nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses, staff, and management of Heritage Memory Care at The Colonnade in O'Fallon, Ill for their loving care during this last year.

Funeral: A memorial service to celebrate Willies's life will be held on April 10th in North Little Rock, Ark. She will be buried next to her husband at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
