BENTONVILLE — James S. Wright, 70, of Bentonville died Feb. 5, 2002, at his home. He was born Jan. 18, 1932, in Cloudy, Okla., to Martin and Fannie Dunlap Wright. He moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1977 from Cement, Okla., and was a tool and die maker. He had been employed by Wal-Mart for the past five years. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Lola Frances Wright, to whom be was married 50 years; four daughters, Lorinda Jones and husband Phil of Anaheim, Calif., Shannon King and husband Jim of Duff, Tenn., Nola Barrett and husband Rogers of Bentonville, and Lacy Angel Wright of Bentonville; four brothers, Robert Wright of Antlers, Okla., William Wright of Noel, Mo., Denver Wright of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jessie Wright of Tulsa, Okla.; three sisters, Bonnie McCann, Inez Thompson and Marjorie Salvatore, all of Bentonville; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday Rogers with the Rev. Bruce Holland officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Rollins.

Memorials may be made to Washington Regional Hospice, 34 W. Colt Square Drive 1, Fayetteville, 72703.

BENTONVILLE — Lola Frances Wright, age 75, of Bentonville passed away on Dec. 16, 2013, in Tulsa, Okla. She was born Dec. 26, 1937, in Norge, Okla., to the late Carl and Audrey Hare Thompson.

She worked as a quality control inspector for Wal-Mart for many years where she retired.

Survivors include daughters, Shannon King and her husband, James, of Duff, Tenn., Nola Barrett and her husband, Roger, of Bentonville, Ark.; brother, Robert Thompson and his wife, Ellen, of Fairview, Okla.; sister, Lorretta Clements of Weed, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her special friend. Marlene Ramey; and a host of in-laws.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James; daughter, Lorinda Kathryn; granddaughter, Donna Sue; and five great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on today, Dec. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 20, at 1 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers, with Brother Robert Ward officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
