Julius C Rofkahr, 84, of Altus, Arkansas, died Sunday, September 18, 2011, in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
He was born February 16, 1927 to Ferdinand and Marie Hoffman Rofkahr.

He owned and operated Rofkahr Garage. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was a member of St. Joseph Society and American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia Timmerman Rofkahr and a daughter, Kathy Patterson.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Altus with Father Aaron Pirrera officiating, with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

He is survived by two sons, Jim and Allen Rofkahr both of Altus; two sisters, Geraldine Leding of Altus and Mildred Baumgartner of Dublin, Arkansas; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Ted Skolarski, Albert Leding, Kenneth Leding, Michael Dahlem, Greg Gowing and Robert Rofkahr.

Rosary will be held at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with visitation following.

Cecilia Josephine Rofkahr, of Altus died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at St. Mary's Hospital in Russellville, Arkansas. Ms. Rofkhr was 76 years and 7 months old. She was born Oct. 31, 1932, in Altus, to the late William and Lena (Glansman) Timmerman. Ms. Rofkahr was retired from Wiederkehr Wine Cellars, a homemaker, and member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Mothers Society.

Rosary service was held on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at 7 p.m. in the Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark, Arkansas. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday July 1, 2009, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Altus.

Ms. Rofkahr is survived by her husband, Julius; a daughter, Kathy Patterson of Ozark; two sons, Jim and Allen Rofkahr, both of Altus; two sisters, Rosella Reith of Hattieville and Pauline Pennington of Wichita, Kan.; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers were: the St. Mary's Mothers Society.
