ROGERS - Carrie Clorene Mills, 90, of Garfield passed away Jan. 30, 2015 in Bentonville. She was born in a log cabin built by her father on Ventris Road in Garfield on Nov. 24, 1924; the daughter of Elbert and Isa Cox Reddick. She was a homemaker and a farmer's wife, a member of the Baptist Church.

Clorene enjoyed writing poems and stories. She had a full and happy life, married for nearly 55 years and when Herbert passed, lived on the same place since she was 17 years old. She is also preceded in death by one son, Johnny Elbert Mills and one grandson, Christopher Mills and her daughter-in-law, Sherry Mills.

She is survived by her sons, Warren Mills and wife Wanda of Jena, La.; Larry Mills and wife Carol of Garfield; and Tommy Mills and wife Diana of Jacket, Mo.; her brother, Billy Reddick of Avoca and one sister, Phoebe Hurst of Buckeye, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren, many stepgrandchildren, many great-grandchildren and six or more great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Walnut Hill Cemetery with Pastor Josh Ramsey officiating. Memorial contributions to Circle of Life Hospice. Online condolences to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com
