George Lowell Hudnall, 84, of Taylor passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the Springhill Medical Center in Springhill, LA.
He was born on April 11, 1932 in Taylor to Robert Tibbs and Idelle Hughes Hudnall.
He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was an operator for the International Paper Company and retired from Ethyl/Albermarle Corporation. He was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Taylor. He enjoyed working and raising a garden and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
George was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carole (Reynolds) Hudnall; brother, Robert Hudnall Jr.; and sisters, Dewanna Whittington and Betty Jo Hudnall.
He is survived by his daughter, Beth Matthews and husband Greg of Magnolia; grandchildren, Sara Stevens and husband Trey of Taylor and Rebecca Matthews of Magnolia; great grandchildren, Thane Stevens and Helen Stevens of Taylor; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.
Visitation with the family will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, October 7 at the First United Methodist Church in Taylor.
