Taylor AR - Funeral services for Mr. Horace Milburn Disotell, age 95, will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, December 23, 2016, at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel in Springhill, LA, with Rev. Wayne Raines officiating. Interment will follow in Taylor Memorial Cemetery, Taylor, AR under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Mr. Disotell was born on April 15, 1921 to Noah Franklin and Annice Pope Disotell in Taylor, AR and passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in Taylor. He was a native of the area and moved back to Taylor from Anchorage, AK in 1975 after retiring, with 30 years of service, as an air traffic controller with the FAA.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Glass Disotell of Magnolia, AR; sons, Robert H. Disotell of Taylor, AR, Lee A. Disotell and wife, Lenora of Marshall, TX; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; ten step grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; step daughter, Donna Lane of Denton, TX; stepsons, Randy Glass, Tony Glass and wife, Melissa and Curtis Neal and wife, Stephanie, all of Taylor, AR.
Mr. Disotell was preceded in death by wife, Mildred Hix Disotell, son, Edward Cannon; parents; and sisters, Lois and Ineta.
