Harry Truman Stockton was born May 14, 1945 in Clarksville, Arkansas, and died March 17, 2017 in Hunt, Arkansas, at the age of 71. He was a carpenter and of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Buck and Mildred Ross Stockton; a daughter, Debra Lee Stockton; and a brother, Billy Edward Stockton.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Stockton of Hunt; a step-son, William Young of Paris; brothers, Joe Buck Stockton of Marysville, California, John Dick Stockton of Waldron, Arkansas and Major Ray Stockton of Hunt; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be an open visitation at Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville.
The Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville with Brother Steve Jacobs officiating. Burial will be held at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Hunt, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Josh Yarbrough, Robert Warren, Donald Stockton, Paul Timmerman, Robert Qualls, and Duane Qualls. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clayton Stockton, Billy Qualls, Eric Stockton, and Herb Shockley.
