Major Ray Stockton was born May 1, 1948, in Clarksville, Arkansas to Oscar Buck and Mildred Evelyn (Ross) Stockton.

He passed away April 10, 2018, in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 69. He was an Army Veteran and of the Assembly of God faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Butch Brousseau; his brothers, Harry (Blue) Stockton and Bill Stockton.

His is survived by his son, Jimmy Brousseau of Clarksville, Arkansas; his daughter, Missy McCabe and husband, Mark of Clarksville, Arkansas; his brothers, Joe Buck Stockton of California and John Dick Stockton of Waldron, Arkansas; his sister in laws, Shirley Stockton of Hunt, Arkansas and Doreen Stockton of Waldron, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Jesse Stockton, Callie McCarley, Jimmy Brousseau Jr, Joshua Brousseau, Ben McCabe, Ashley Brousseau, Amanda Brousseau, Elli McCabe, Summer Lee and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be an open visitation at Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas with Robert Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery at Hunt, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Jesse Stockton, Jimmy Brousseau Jr, Josh Stockton, Eric Stockton, Clayton Stockton, and Ben McCabe.
