Ms. Mary E. Langston, oc Cecil, Arkansas, died Sunday, March 2, 2014, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was 88 years old. Ms. Langston was the daughter of the late James Wilson and Belah S. (Eubanks) Russell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Grove Community Church near Cecil, Arkansas.

Ms. Langston was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Duard Welton langston; 1 son: Welton Ray Langston; and 4 brothers: Leon Russell, Clayton Russell, Paul Russell, and Wayne Russell; her paternal grandparents: Dr. Seaborn Russell and his wife: Alice Daisy (Bachelor) Russell, and her paternal grandparents: Yearby Wilton Eubanks (1842-1905) and Martha (Powell) Eubanks(1856-1932).
She is survived by 3 daughters: Linda (Langston)Brickey and her husband: Phillip, Donna (Langston)Kemp and her husband: Eddie, and mary Beth (Langston) Hancock, all of Fort Smith, Arkansas; 2 sons: Steven langston of Barling, Arkansas, and Michael Langston of Altus, Arkansas; 1 sister: Hazel (Russell) Rainwater, of Barling, Arkansas; 11 wonderful grandchildren; 14 precious great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many dear friends.

Funeral service was held on Thursday afternoon, March 6, 2014, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, Arkansas. Rev. Lee Kemp, officiated the services.
Pallbearers were: Jim Russell, Bill Russell, Phillip Russell, Paul Rainwater, and Greg Brickey.
