Harold W. Steele, 87, of Charleston, AR passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 in Fort Smith, AR. He was born March 15, 1928 in Auburn, AR (formerly Ft. Chaffee) to Grant Steele and Willie Amos Steele.
He was a retired Electrician, working for Khilco Electric in Fort Smith; a member of Charleston First Baptist Church; a Mason and a US Navy veteran; He was also an avid fisherman and outdoors man.
Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 20th, 2015 at Smith Mortuary Chapel in Charleston with interment at Garden of Memories under the direction of Smith Mortuary of Charleston.
Harold is survived by one son Greg Steele of Hortense, GA, three daughters Debra Little and husband Gerald of Little Rock, AR, Amy Evans and husband Jeff of Fort Smith, and Rebecca Sergeant and husband Terry of Abilene, TX. Eleven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and special friend, Nina Hicks of Fort Smith.
