SPRINGDALE — Jerry Bob Vickers, 60, of Springdale died May 22, 2004, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born Oct. 13, 1943, in Witcherville, Ark., the son of James and Melvina McKinney Vickers. He was a dedicated Christian who devoted much of his time to helping not only his friends and family but also anyone in need and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Springdale. He had spent time in April helping to build a church in Uruguay. He was a loving, caring and generous son, husband, father and grandfather, who was loved and admired by all who knew him and had served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a self-made business professional whose strong moral integrity made him a highly respected builder/developer within the community and was Co-owner of J.V. Custom Homes.
He was a past president of Northwest Arkansas Home Builders Association. He was an avid outdoorsman who lived life to the fullest by pursuing his passions of hunting, fishing and flying. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Smith Vickers of the home; his mother, Melvina Vickers of Arkoma, Okla.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Don Vickers and Tracy and John Vickers and Sharon, all of Springdale; one daughter. July Vickers Macy of Rogers; two brothers, James Vickers of Rock Island, Okla., and Larry Vickers of Arkoma, Okla.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Springdale with the Rev. Bob Fant officiating.
Burial will be in Zion Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home.

COLLINSVILLE, Okla. — Pat A. Vickers, formerly of Springdale, died Aug. 12, 2015, in Collinsville, Okla.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at 1 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church, in Springdale. Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
