SPRINGDALE — Ben Ward Glover, 76, of Springdale died April 27, 2000, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Nov. 20, 1923, in Baird, Texas, to Joe and Eula Clyde Ward Glover.

He was a poultry and cattle farmer. He moved to the area in 1955 from Baird and was a Marine veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the House of Worship and a former member of the Washington County Sheriff's Posse.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie Belle Smith Clover of the home, to whom he was married Dec. 4, 1948; one daughter and son-in-law, Anna Wade and Roger of Springdale; one brother, Tom Glover of Springdale; four sisters, Alma Stevenson of Baird, Hope Evans of Clyde, Texas, Ida Mae Waddell of Putnam, Texas, and Corrine King of Abilene, Texas; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and Tony Mayorga and family of Springdale.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Bill Williams officiating.

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Pallbearers be Bobby Johnson, Johnny Kyle, J.D. Snow, Leon Strope, Guy Terry and Donald Lee Thomas.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Bowen, Joe Lee, Charles Rexford, R.L. "Dusty" Richards, Gene Shockley and Goob Watson.

SPRINGDALE — Lillie Belle Glover, 92, of Springdale died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born Dec. 29, 1919, in Baird, Texas, to Sim and Annie Walker Smith.

Lillie was a farmer. She was a member of Astounding Grace Church. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Anna Wade and husband, Roger, of Springdale, and Aleta Mabry and husband, Sam, of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Kara Richardson and husband, James, and Brandy Piazza and Travis; four great-grandchildren, Marley, Gino, Halley and Grayce.

Funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with the Rev. Butch Bolinger and the Rev. Kenny Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
