Virginia Talton Sells, age 91, died Friday, January 7th in Ozark. She and her husband owned and operated Herman's Cleaners in Ozark for many years prior to retirement. She was born January 9, 1919 in Huntsville, Arkansas to Charles J. Wade and Liddie Pearigen Wade. She was a member of the Etna Church of Christ and a volunteer at the Thrift Store and Depot Museum in Ozark. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman D. Sells, her daughter, Gina Helmert, and her son, Bobby D. Sells.
She is survived by four grandchildren: Christie Childers, Stephen Helmert, and Jason and Danny Sells; five great grandchildren: Matthew Childers, Caitlyn Voigt, Haleigh Helmert, and Morgan and Regan Sells.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, January 10, 2011 at Mt. View Cemetery in Ozark with Reverend Ted Darling officiating and under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Scott and Matthew Childers, Stephen Helmert, Frank Maier, Jason and Danny Sells.
The family will visit with friends 2:00 – 4:00 PM, Sunday, January 9th at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial in Ozark.
