James Byrd, 76

James Curtis Byrd, 76, of Elizabeth passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 in Elizabeth. He was born Feb. 27, 1940 in Elizabeth, AR to Everett Byrd and Edith Davis Byrd. He served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years. He was a welder, pipefitter and worked in heating & cooling. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his longtime companion, Charlotte Daniels of Elizabeth; 2 sons: Pete Byrd of Mountain Home, AR and Jack Byrd of St. James, MO; 2 daughters: Barbara (Daniel) Yates of Benton, AR and Cathy Deluca of Salem, MO; 8 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a sister Betty Brison of Elizabeth, AR; 2 brothers: Terry Byrd of Rogersville, Alabama and Sam Byrd of Wideman, AR. Visitation will be from 10 AM until Noon Saturday February 25, 2017 at Roller Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held at 1 PM at Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, AR. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
