GRAVETTE — Imogene Noah, 96, of Gravette, Ark., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, at the Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale, Ark. Imogene was born April 4, 1920, in Smithville, Ark. She was the daughter of Clarence and Doris Maxwell. She was the widow of the late Charles "CC" Noah.
Mrs. Noah was a homemaker, enjoyed her family, like to color with her grandchildren; she enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, sewing and fishing.
Survivors include: daughter, Meleta Mitchell, Gravette, Ark.; son, Lee Roy and Charlene Noah, Gravette, Ark.; grandchildren; Cheryl and David Stephens, Rogers, Ark., Vicki Noah-Walker, Gravette, Ark.; great-grandchildren; Amber Gene and Chad Cook, Gravette, Ark., Dakota Lee and Mary Smith, Gravette, Ark., Shelby Ann Nichols, Gravette, Ark.; great-great-grandchildren, Macee Lee Hickman, Jaxson Cook, Noah Smith. Imogene is also survived by friends and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles; a son, Odell Noah; grandson, Luther Lee Smith; two brothers, Hershel and Elmer Maxwell; two sisters, Ruth Townsend and Drew Croon.
The funeral for Mrs. Noah will be held on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, at 2 p.m. at God's Lighthouse in Bentonville, Ark. The Rev. Leroy Norton will officiate the service. Burial will be held at Coffelt Cemetery in Vaughn, Ark., under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Ark.
