October 1, 1904 - December 7, 1968
Harold Bratton, 62, of Louann (Ouachita County) died Saturday in a Little Rock hospital. Mr. Bratton was an oil operator with the Shuler Oil Co., and had lived in the Louann area for 45 years. He was a Mason and a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruby Bratton of Louann; three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Murphy of El Dorado, Mrs. Willie Irvin of Texas, and Mrs. H. C. Alexander of Smackover; and a brother, F. E. Bratton of Texas. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at the Liberty Church near Louann. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under direction of Proctor Funeral Home of Camden. (El Dorado Times - December 9, 1968)
