Obituary
Pocahontas- Bonnie Beatrice Virginia Blissenbach, 88, passed away April 9, 2017 surrounded by loved ones.
Bonnie was born August 15, 1928 in Dalton, AR to Sular and Kate Tiner Vandergriff. She was a loving mother, loyal wife, family oriented. She raised her children in Cahokia, IL and returned to Arkansas after they retired in 1979. She also helped raise several other children including her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman Bernard Blissenbach; son, James Blissenbach; grandson, Mark Blissenbach; brothers, Dentis, Kenoth, Joe, Clyde and Clay Vandergriff; sisters, Edna Crawford, Alma Lee Kildow, Avis Peterson, and Alous Thatch.
She is survived by son, Harold Bernard Blissenbach of Dalton, AR; daughter, Bonnie Diane (Clinton) Kercheval of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Timothy Alan Blissenbach, Denise Voss, Keith Kercheval, Michael Blissenbach, Todd Blissenbach, Melissa Blissenbach; and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 1-2 pm at McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service immediately following at 2 pm. with Gaylon Russell officiating. Burial in Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Harold Blissenbach, Todd Blissenbach, Timothy Blissenbach, Bob Vandergriff, Keith Kercheval, and Stephen Blissenbach.
