FARMINGTON — James Virden Guinn Jr., 80, a resident of Farmington, passed away Aug. 10, 2014, at his home. He was born June 12, 1934, at Robbins, Okla., the son of James Virden and Murel McCaslin Guinn Sr.
James was retired from the University of Arkansas Physical plant with 33 years of service. He was a 32nd-degree Mason. He and his wife were full time RV'ers. He was a member of the Farmington Baptist Church. He was an avid woodworker, fisherman, gardener, craftsman and jack of all trades. He had a great love for his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Kaye Guinn; his parents and one brother, Charles Edward Guinn.
Survivors include one son, Wayne Feterly of Wagoner, Oklahoma; three daughters, Rebecca Hurlburt and husband Chuck of Farmington, Angel Turner and husband Steve of Siloam Springs, Leanna Foshe and husband John of Fayetteville; two sisters, Edith McCarthy and Louis Gibbons both of Tulsa, Okla.; eight grandchildren, Jordan Hurlburt, Samantha Hurlhurt, Kaitlyn Feterly, Elizabeth Caudle, Jacob Williams, Chance Bardsley, Haley Foshe, and Caleb Foshe; two great-grandchildren, Payton and Rylee Caudle; numerous nieces and nephews; and his two dogs, Trixie and Jake.
Visitation will be today from noon until 8 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014 - 10 a.m. at the Farmington Cemetery Pavilion with Preston Beeks officiating. Burial will be in the Farmington Cemetery.

WAGONER, Okla. — Services for Sharon Kaye (Tackett) Guinn, 67, are 2 p.m. today in Farmington Cemetery.
Born Nov. 19, 1944, Sharon grew up in Tulsa, was an accounting secretary for University of Arkansas, and passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012.
Survived by husband, James; children, Rebecca Hurlburt and Leanna Foshe of Farmington, Wayne Feterly of Wagoner; five grandchildren; stepdaughter, Angel Bardsley; three step-grandchildren; and great-grandchild.
