FARMINGTON — Virginia Jo Toothman, 54, of Farmington, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at Washington Regional Medical Center.
She was born March 25, 1956, in Harrison, Ark., the daughter of Rual Ramey and Lois Ramey-Dean. She was preceded in death by her father; her maternal grandparents, Ollie and Frances Trammell; and a brother, James Ramey.
She was a bus driver for the Springdale school system. She was a devoted member of the New Covenant Fellowship Church in Farmington. She married the love of her life, Orville S. Toothman on Nov. 7, 1975, in Edwardsville, Kan.
She is survived by her loving husband, Orville S. Toothman; her mother and stepfather, Lois and Delbert Dean; three children, Mickey W. Rice Jr. and wife, Carolyn, of West Fork, Ark., Jennifer Ramey of Farmington, Ark., and Daniel Toothman and wife, Ashley, of Midland, Texas; two brothers, Harley Ramey of Buckner, Mo., and Kenneth Ramey of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren, Presley W. Ramey of Farmington, Ark., and Tina and Ryan Donahue of Fayetteville, Ark.; one great-grandchild, Makayla Donahue; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Moore's Chapel, 206 W. Center, Fayetteville, Ark. Officiating will be Ivan Rivera.
Burial will be at Farmington Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Moore's Chapel.
