Walter Leslie Meyer, 74, of Fayetteville died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born Feb. 28, 1931, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Walter Dimsdale and Vera Kilburn Meyer. He was a professor emeritus of chemistry at the University of Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Weaver Meyer of the home; two daughters, Janet Meyer of Fayetteville and Barbara Peters and her husband Jerry of Farmington; one son, Robert Leslie Meyer of Fayetteville; one brother, Robert Bruce Meyer of Tremont, ILL.; and three grandchildren.
Cremation was by Moore's Chapel.
Memorials may be made to Washington Regional Hospice, 34 W. Colt Square, Suite 1, Fayetteville, 72703, or a charity of your choice.

FAYETTEVILLE — Anne Weaver Meyer, 73, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, at Washington Regional Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 26, 1933, at Niles, Mich., the daughter of John Valentine and Meltha Aetna Barney Weaver.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Leslie Meyer on Feb. 4, 2006.
She was a homemaker and a volunteer for Washington Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and Washington Regional Hospice.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Meyer of Fayetteville, Barbara Peters and her husband Jerry of Farmington; a son, Robert Leslie Meyer of Fayetteville; a brother, Barney Weaver of Niles, Mich.; two sisters, Joan Verwilst of Niles, Mich., and Kay Howson of Carrollton, Ga.; a brother-in-law, Robert Bruce Meyer of Tremont, Ill.; three grandchildren, Mitchell, Martin and Leslie Peters.
There will be a celebration of life at 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29 at Moore's Chapel with the Rev. Phil Misenheimer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Washington Regional Hospice, 34 W. Colt Square, Suite 1, Fayetteville, 72703 or a charity of your choice.
