April 17, 1894 - February 3, 1970
Mrs. Nancy Martha McAdoo, 75, of 607 W. Seventh St., Smackover, died Tuesday afternoon at her home following a lengthy illness. Born April 17, 1894 in Liberty Center, Ohio. Mrs. McAdoo moved to Smackover in 1923. Survivors include her husband, Leon V. McAdoo, Sr.; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Phillips of Houston, Tex.; four brothers, Roy Hilborn, Melvin Hilborn and Robert Hilborn, all of Malvern, and Johnny Hilborn of Homer, La; a sister, Mrs. Ida Ledford of Malvern; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Smackover. Burial will be in the Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Camden Funeral Home.
