DeWITT - Ida Myrtle Lincomfelt Paxton, born on Nov. 11, 1921 to Jess and Winnie (Stallings) Lincomfelt, departed this life on April 28, 2005. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, a homemaker and devoted mother.
Mrs. Paxton was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eldon "Jim" Paxton; brother, Everett Lincomfelt; sister, Lucille Grammer; son-in-law, Jim Ward; grandson, Ricky Davidson; and great-grandson, Brett Davidson.
She is survived by her 10 children, (seven daughters, and three sons),
Katherine (Ed) Davidson, Margie (Ray) Coker of Little Rock, Blanche (Tommy) Arthur of Jacksonville, Betty Ward, Joyce (Travis ) Henderson, Norma (Jerry) Childers, Brenda (Robbie) Fread, James "Dood" (Carol) Paxton, Bobby (Susan) Paxton, and Billy (Tina) Paxton all of DeWitt; one brother, Carlton Lincomfelt of Marvell; 29 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren ; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 2 p.m., at Eastside Baptist Church in DeWitt with burial in Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens under the direction of Essex Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2005 at Essex Funeral Home in DeWitt. The family requests memorials be made to Hospice Home Care, 3801 West 28th Street, Pine Bluff, Ark. 71603.
