Ray Hinesley, 93, Cicero, Indiana formerly of Mountain View entered into rest on October 15, 2011.
He was born March 27, 1918 in Rushing, Arkansas to Jesse David and Sarah Elizabeth (Holland) Hinesley.
He was retired from Continental Steel in Kokomo, Indiana. He was U.S. Army veteran of World War II in which he received a bronze star.
He is survived by his wife Jean Hinesley of the home; brother Bernis Hinesley; sons, Wendall Hinesley Goodson and wife Carol of Johnson Station, TN, Nordin Glen Hinesley and wife Joann of Allegan, MI and Lyle Jay Hinesley and wife Jana of Cicero, IN; five grandchildren Julie Hinesley, Janet Hinesley, Phillip Goodson, Faith Murphy and Nicole Moore and seven great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation is 12 p.m. – 2p.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View with Bro. Bill Whitfield officiating and interment in Flatwoods Cemetery, Mtn. View.
Pallbearers are Clinton Ray Hinesley, Dean Hinesley, Jackie Hinesley, Darren Hinesley, Weldon Duncan and Shane Bailey. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Peterson, Ryan Hinesley, Phillips Goodson and Bernis Neal Hinesley.
