James W. McKeowen, 91 of Tulip, Arkansas died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at his home. He was born August 10, 1918 in Tulip to the late Leonard I. And Anna Kelly McKeowen. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Beulah Alice Overton McKeowen. He was also preceded in death by two brothers.
He is survived by four daughters, Patsy Daniels of Grapevine, Ann Talbert and husband Gary of Benton, Doris Nutt and husband Fay of Fordyce, and Jeanie Stiles and husband John D. Stiles of Tulip; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 PM at Tulip Methodist Church with Rev. James E. Batts officiating. Burial at Tulip Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 PM until 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
