Commie Chester Glasscock, 66, of Rt. 1, Pea Ridge died Friday at Washington Regional Medical center in Fayetteville.

He was born May 20, 1908 in Loanoke. He was employed by McClintonBros. in Johnson.

He sis survive by his wife, Helen of the home; ix sons, Lonnie Glasscock of the home, David Glasscock of Bentonville, Jimmy Glasscock of Decatur, Albert Glasscock of Savannah, Ga., Ernest Glasscock of St. Louis, Mo. and Vernon (Buddy) Glascock of Grovetown, Ga.; seven daughters, Geraldine Glasscock of the home, Mrs. Virginia Tello and Betty Glasscock of Rogers, Mrs. Diane Harris of Shady Grove, Ore., Mrs. Lois Cowan of Visalia, Calif., Mrs. Lorean Blagg of Tyrona and Mrs. Claudia Hayes of Rose, Okla.; two brothers, Eugene Glasscock of Gentry and Arthur Glasscock of Bald Knob; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Ludlow of Burbank, Calif. and Mrs. Avis Bonham of Globe, Ariz. and 21 grandchildren.

Services are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge with Bob Schooley officiating. Burial will be in the Pea Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.

Helen Lucille Glasscock, 80, of Bentonville died Sunday, Feb. 20, 1994, at her home. Born Feb. 20, 1914, at Advance, Mo.; the daughter of Byrd Jackson and Ida Mae Goodman Jackson, she was active in VFW and Moose lodge activities.

Survivors are four sons, Earnest Glasscock of St. Louis, Jim Glasscock of Utica, Kan., Albert Glasscock of Rogers, and David Glasscock of Bentonville; seven daughters, Claudia Daniels of Collinsville, Okla., Lorean Blagg of Rogers, Lois Gasset of Bonaza, Ore., Diane Harris of Rogers, Betty Cowgur of Bella Vista, Ginger Truax of Hamilton, Mont. and Geraldine Butler of Missoula, Mont.; a sister, Sadie Jones of Paragould; 31 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Callison-Lough Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Dorman officiating. Burial will be Buttrams Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Family Support Services, 411 West Central, Bentonville, 72712.
