Mary - December 13, 1909 - December 30, 1994

L. R. Wrentz, age 66, died Thursday at home following a long illness. Mr. Wrentz, a native of Pioneer, Louisiana, had lived in Camden for the past 39 years. he was a retired employee of International Paper Company, a deacon of Temple Baptist Church, and a Mason. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Biggers of Fairview, and Mary Ann Wrentz of Little Rock; three sons - Richard, of Denton, Texas, James Robert of Houston, Texas, and Bubba of the home; three sisters, two brothers, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of proctor Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Blann officiating and Rev. Robert Parker assisting. Burial will follow in Greenwood cemetery. Pallbearers will be the deacons of the Temple Baptist Baptist Church and Jewel Mays. Robert Nutt and Harlon Lusby. (Camden News - March 31, 1967)
