SPRINGDALE — Theodore "Ted" Eugene Hess, 72, of Springdale died April 7, 2004, at Rochier Heights Nursing Center in Fayetteville. He was born April 29, 1931, in Tontitown to Bernard J. and Clara Friemel Hess. He was a member of Turner Street Baptist Church in Springdale and was retired from Kearney Electric.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Crudup Villines Hess of the home; two sons, Terry Wayne Hess of Garland, Texas, and Leslie Bernard Hess of Little Rock; one daughter, Della Lea Jordan of Farmington; one sister, Frances Poole of Fayetteville; one brother, Herbert Hess of Wichita, Kan.; one stepson, Randy Villines of Springdale; one stepdaughter, Gaye Benton of Prairie Grove; one grandson; two stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove with Mark McEuen officiating.
Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

PRAIRIE GROVE — Betty Jo Hess, 80, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Oct. 20, 2012, in Fayetteville. She was born May 29, 1932, in Fayetteville, the daughter of Milton Chic and Lois Rheam Crudup.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Hess.
Survivors include one son, Randy Villines and wife, Fern, of Springdale; one daughter, Gaye Benton and husband, Danny, of Prairie Grove; one brother, Kenneth Crudup and wife, Betty, of Fayetteville; one granddaughter, Courtne Hawkins and husband, Brian, of Prairie Grove; two great-grandsons, Taylor and Lncas Hawkins.
Funeral Services will be held today, Oct. 22, 2012, 2 p.m. at the Prairie Grove Christian Church. Burial will be in the Farmington Cemetery; there will be no graveside service held at the cemetery.
