Josephine Margaret "Jo" Cathey Stone, 93 years of age, of Little Rock, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, December 29th, 2009.
She was born on July 13th, 1916, daughter of the late Joseph Cathey and Ada Cathey.
She was a graduate of Draughon's School of Business and worked as a banker in Eudora, Arkansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a Christian and an honorary life member of the Pleasant Valley Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Ada Cathey; her husband, Jesse R. Stone; two brothers, Charles Cathey and Finus Cathey; and one sister, Laverne Lusk.
She was survived by one son, Jesse Reagan Stone of White Fish, Montana; two daughters, Linda Susan Stone of Little Rock, Arkansas and Cathey Jo Stone (and her husband, Richard) Shaw of Ft. Collins, Colorado; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jack Robert Cathey of Tulsa.
Graveside service were held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Camden, Arkansas.
