Wife of Joe Purifoy
June 9, 1896 - November 12, 1965
Mrs. Katie F. Purifoy age 69 passed away at her home, Camden Rt. 1, Friday afternoon. She was the widow of the late Joe Purifoy and made her home in Lester for about 42 years. Mrs. Purifoy was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors are; two sons, Bill Purifoy and Ray Purifoy both of Camden; two daughters, Mrs. Homer Cross, Camden, Mrs. Bill Teague, Homestead, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Van Drummond, Camden; one brother, Rayborn Rhinehart; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday at Proctor's Chapel. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. (Camden News - November 13, 1965)
