Ollie Belle Simmons, 83, of Conway passed from this life on Sunday, August 9, 2015. She was born August 12, 1931 in Bald Knob, Arkansas to John and Lucy (Nunley) Lewis. She was a member of Beryl Baptist Church. Ollie was a loving wife and mother and a hard worker. She loved to garden, had a good sense of humor, and a heart of gold. She graduated valedictorian of the Clover Bend High School class of 1950.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Pearl Winfrey, Arvella Shipman and brother Homer Lewis.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years Ansel Dean Simmons, son William Simmons, several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
Graveside funeral services will be 10am Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Beryl Cemetery with Bro. Wade Lentz officiating. Visitation will be at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 6-8pm.
