Betty Jean Meeks Noggle, 85, of Farmington, went to be with our Lord on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011. She was born June 21, 1925, in Memphis, Tenn.
Betty married Leonard Shelby "Nog" Noggle Sept. 15, 1944. She was a homemaker until she went to work for San Juan College in 1967 as secretary to the president. She retired after 21 years' service.
After retirement she joined the San Juan Regional Hospital Auxiliary and worked in the hospital gift shop until three months ago.
Betty would visit the Methodists in the hospital once a week. She and Nog have been members of the First Methodist Church since they moved to Farmington in 1963.
She is survived by Nog, her husband of 66 years; a daughter, Patty McClelland and her husband, Ed, of Roswell; son, Ron Noggle of Albuquerque; grandsons, Mike Enloe, Chris Enloe and Brian McClelland; granddaughter, Katherine Hon-Noggle; and two great-grandchildren, Chelsea Enloe and Christopher Enloe.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Cancer Center, the San Juan Regional Hospital or the charity of your choice.
