Maxine Parker Crafton, 76, of DeWitt, AR, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Cresentpark of DeWitt.
She was born February 24, 1930, in DeWitt to the late Thaddeus Robert Parker and Viola Stillwell Parker.
She retired from the University of Central Arkansas as an executive secretary and was a member of the Conway First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sister, Jackie Bell and husband Roger "Bud" Bell of DeWitt; two nephews, Todd Bell and wife Terri of Stamps, AR, and Chad Bell and wife Kiki of DeWitt; and six great nephews and nieces, Coy Bell, Hannah Bell, Cody Stalling, Sydney Smith, Starr Bell, and Stormee Bell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 41 years, L.P. Crafton, Jr.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 7, at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway with Dr. R. Dale Wicker, Jr. officiating.
