Frank Vaughn Burrus, Jr., 87 of Vilonia, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012. He was born on Monday, November 9, 1925 in Rome, Mississippi to the late Frank Vaughn and Tobitha Rosebud (Allen) Burrus, Sr.
He is survived by his special friend and caregiver, Lorene Tucker of Vilonia; two nephews, Horace Wolfe of Batesville, Mississippi and Wayne Delp of Oregon; and a niece, Edith Rose Daffron of Huntington, Arkansas.
Frank is preceded in death by his wife Helen (Fisher) Burrus; son, Frank Vaughn Burrus III; a brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Vilonia. Burial will follow in Vilonia Cemetery with Bro. John Hamby officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Jay Dunmire, Stan Campbell, Eric Simmons, Wayne Tucker, Tim Tucker, and Les Hopp. Honorary pallbearer, Bert Dunmire
