Wilma Marie Fine McClain, 98, of Conway, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010.
She was born October 4, 1911, in Van Buren, AR, to the late James L. Fine and Lillie (Disney) Fine. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Leo B. McClain, and her siblings, Hamilton Fine, Jack Fine, and Lucille Haynes.
Mrs. McClain was a retired elementary school teacher and taught in the following public schools: Thornton, Van Buren, Helena, and retiring from teaching at Rogers.
She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church and recently attended the Greenbrier United Methodist Church with her daughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret McClain; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Hays; two great-grandchildren, Gavin Johnson and Gabrielle Johnson, all of Conway; two nieces, Barbara Bray of San Diego, California and Rita Kay Fine of Lawrence, Kansas; and extended family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Rev. Jamie Alexander and Rev. John Farthing officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Salem United Methodist Church, 1018 Salem Road, Conway, AR 72034, and/or the Greenbrier United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 126, Greenbrier, AR 72058.
