Rosalie "Rose" Oliver, 74, of Conway, passed from this life on August 2, 2013. Born in the Arkansas Community of East Stringtown, she was a daughter to Howard Wise and Dorothy Louise Suttle. Rose retired from C.H.D.C. after 28 years of service. She also volunteered at Conway Regional Medical Center, North Little Rock VA Hospital, and the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Logan David "L.D." Oliver; her grandmother, Cordie "MaMa" Suttle and a step-son, L.D. "Sonny" Oliver, Jr.
Survivors include her son, George Oliver and wife Alisha; daughter, Carolyn "Cissy" Oliver, both of Conway; step-daughters: Wanda Wiedower of Oklahoma and Wilda Highland of Florida; two grandchildren, Lydia Bliss and Abigail Rose Oliver both of Conway, and her Aunt Eunice Wise.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, August 10, 2013, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Bishop Doug Christiansen officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
