John Hartley Jones, 85, of Conway died Saturday (Nov. 25, 2000) at Fort Smith.
Born Aug. 21, 1915, in Conway, a son of the late Charles W. and Eula Hartley Jones, he was a retired chemist with the Food and Drug Administration.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marlan Jaynes Jones; and a son, John Hartley Jones Jr.
Survivors are a son, George Thomas "Tom" Jones of Silver Spring, Md.; a daughter, Marlan Bernice Jones of Santa Fe, N.M.; a brother, Frank Jones of Fort Smith; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
