Ms. Rosemary McHenry, 65, of Rome, Ga., formerly of Conway, died Thursday (Feb. 1, 2001) at her home.
Born June 8, 1935 in St. Louis, Mo., a daughter of the late G.S. and Bessie Hartje McHenry, she worked for the Girl Scouts of North America, for Berry College in Rome, was Dean of Women at Shorter College in Rome and worked with aging programs in Rome.
Ms. McHenry was a graduate of Hendrix College and West Georgia College in Carrollton, Ga., and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Rome.
She is survived by a nephew, Robert McHenry of Little Rock and a niece, Sara Helms Hyatt of Perryville.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Cemetery.
