CENTERTON — Linda Bush, age 53, of Centerton, went home to be with the Lord on March 9, 2016, in Bentonville. She was born April 19, 1962, in Gravette, Ark., to Dale and Becky Coffelt Thompson.
Linda was a lifelong resident of Centerton and a lifelong member of Centerton First Baptist Church, where she was the Director of Children's Ministries. She rocked precious babies, taught many children and loved on countless families. She married her high school sweetheart, Delton, on Dec. 19, 1980. They spent 35 wonderful years together as best friends and partners in life. Through their marriage, Delton and Linda portrayed a beautiful picture of the gospel that was full of grace, service and unconditional love.
She is survived by her husband, Delton Bush; two sons, Cooper and Clint; daughter-in-law, Natalie Bush; her mother, Rebecca Thompson; four brothers — Jerry, Jimmy, David and Randy Thompson.
Linda was preceded in death by her father Dale Thompson.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 14, at 10 a.m. at Centerton First Baptist Church. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. Interment will be at Coffelt Cemetery.
