ROGERS — Jette L. Coleman, 84, died Aug. 1, 2011, at the Bradford House. She was born in Monte Ne on Sept. 2, 1927, to William and Bertha Mae (Peckinpaugh) Autrey. Jette was the loving wife of the late Ona L. Coleman.

Mrs. Coleman was a homemaker and seamstress. She owned a home-based tailoring business.

She loved to quilt and belonged to a group called Morning Star. She was also very active in the 4-H Club, Care and Share in Gravette and taught Sunday school at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur. Jette was a member of the church for 50 years.

Jette is survived by her two sons, Jim and Mary Coleman of Rogers, Larry Coleman of Huntsville; two daughters, Delores and Bob Jones of Pea Ridge, Linda and Gerald Webb of Decatur; sister, Jean Rusk of Bentonville; and close friends, Fred and Pam Stouten of Bentonville. She also leaves 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at 10 a.m. in the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur, with Pastor David Hollowell officiating and Pastor Mark Snodgrass reading the obituary. Her burial will follow at the Coffelt Cemetery in Vaughn.

Mrs. Coleman's visitation will be Friday, Aug. 5, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.
