BENTONVILLE — Virginia Ann Crihfield, 57, of Bentonville, Ark., died Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. She was born May 21, 1954, the daughter of Doris Powell and Virgil Carter in Newport, Ark.
She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and grandchildren. She loved traveling, playing cards and dominoes. She was employed for over 15 years with Walmart, serving in many areas, including sign coordinator. Previously, she had worked for over three years with Joe Hewgley Tom's Vending. She was preceded in death by two nieces.
Ann is survived by her husband, Andy Crihfield of the home, whom she married June 26, 1998; her parents, Virgil and Doris Carter of Lowell, Ark.; four sons, Richard Howk and his wife, Amy, of Bentonville, Ark., Steven Howk and his wife, Colleen, of Camp LeJuene, N.C., Ronnie Crupper of Centerton. Ark., Kevin Howk of Fayetteville, Ark.; two stepsons, Andrew Crihfield and John Crihfield, both of Arkansas, two stepdaughters, Mindy Miller and her husband, Paul, of Pea Ridge, Ark., Samantha Crihfield of Fayetteville, Ark.; two brothers, David Carter and his wife, Becky, of Lowell, Ark., Troy Carter and his wife, Paula, of Elm Springs, Ark.; one sister, Peggy Young and her husband, Gary, of Rogers, Ark.; seven grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, March 1, 2012, from 9 a.m. until service time at First Baptist Church of Lowell. Funeral service: Thursday, March 1, 2012, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lowell, with Pastor Gary Thomas officiating. Interment will be private at Coffelt Cemetery in Vaughn.
